Student success is a top priority for teachers. Technology is a powerful educational tool, however, keeping students engaged in your lessons can be a difficult task.  Here are 6 ways that teachers can win over their students:

1.  Listen to your students

Encourage your students to give you feedback.  It can help you figure out what’s working and what isn’t in your classroom.  When you know what the issues are, you can more easily change the lessons or technology to fit your students’ needs.

2.  Make your lessons student centered

Giving students more control over their own learning has proven to keep them better engaged with their coursework.  Try to give your students direction and guidance while still allowing them to learn in the way that best suits them.

3.  Increase engagement with edtech

Kids love technology, so incorporating edtech into your daily schedule is great way to boost student engagement.  Research some great edtech programs to integrate into your class schedule.

4.  Dream big

It is important that teachers are always looking for fun and innovative ways to engage with their students.  Remember to search for new project and technology to get your students excited about learning.

5.  Be patient

In the digital age, it can be easy to get caught up with time, however every student learns at a different pace.  Make sure you are patient and understanding with students who need more time to grasp certain concepts.

6.  Have fun

Using educational games is a great way to get students excited about learning.  Try to incorporate edtech games into your curriculum.
