Chromebooks are taking over schools.  They are versatile and inexpensive, making them the perfect option for schools or parents looking to incorporate more technology into their students’ education.  They don’t have much competition since most Chromebooks are available for less than $500.

5.  Google Pixelbook

The Google Pixelbook is by far the most expensive option, but the high-end model offers much more power and versatility for high-school or college students looking for a powerful device.  The basic model comes with 256GB of SSD storage, 8GB of RAM and 1TB of free storage for 2 years.  It has Google Assistant built in so you can search with a simple “OK Google.” 

It has a 10 hour battery life, which is shorter than some other Chromebooks.  However, you can have over 100 tabs open while running Android and Linux with no issues.  Students can get even a 10% discount on the Pixelbook.
