Secure Remote Access in the Post-COVID “Normal”

When COVID hit, many organizations were forced to enact work from home and remote work policies for most of their employees.  For many, this meant increasing VPN capabilities as a band-aid solution.  As more restrictions are now being lifted, what might the new “Normal” for remote workers look like, and what security solutions exist to help secure it?  Join Dan Faltisco, Senior Systems Engineer with Sophos as he explores those questions and explains the concept of Zero Trust Network Access.

Cyber-Security: Lay of the ‘Land Edition

Keeping up with the pace of emerging threats can be a daunting task for any full-time Security Operations Center.  Most organizations do not have a dedicated security analyst, let alone a whole team that would be able to staff a 24/7 operation.  So, what do those organizations do to protect themselves?   It starts with understanding the threat landscape and what is happening “in the wild”.  Join Dan Faltisco, Senior Systems Engineer with Sophos as he shares real stories and lessons learned over the past year, as well as what new options exist for pro-active protection from advanced threats.
